Delivered a complete mobile game prototype with a verified core fishing loop — cast, time, catch, collect. Built a scalable fish collection system using JSON-based data structure and consistent pixel art visual language across all game screens.

Fish Garden is a casual fishing collection game with a pixel-style interface and timing-based vertical gauge gameplay. Built as a team project for App Development 2 using React Native and Expo, with 4 members. I led all design work — brand identity, UI/UX, and asset creation — while managing the project overall.

Verify the core fishing loop before expanding features. The primary success metrics were smooth timing-based gameplay, reliable data persistence, and engaging visual feedback. Simple, nostalgic, and immediately readable.

AI-generated pixel assets didn't match the target style — inconsistent pixel density and scaling broke visual cohesion. Needed a full pixel art rule system established early to keep all assets consistent across screens.

Drew all final in-game assets by hand in Pixilart — fish, baits, and rods — after defining pixel size and scaling rules upfront. Created a Figma Make interactive prototype early so the full team shared the same visual reference from day one.

Designed logo, color palette, and pixel art style guide. Established pixel grid rules before any asset production began.

Designed all game screens, user flows, and interactions in Figma. Built a Figma Make prototype for early team alignment.

Hand-drew all pixel art assets in Pixilart after AI-generated assets failed to match the target style. Full control over visual consistency.

Delivered design specs and asset libraries. Worked closely with the developer throughout implementation to ensure screens matched the design vision.
